Do I need artistic experience to participate?
No. Art therapy and creative workshops are designed for everyone. No artistic skills are needed—the focus is on the process of creating, exploring, and connecting rather than the final artwork.

Do you offer keynote presentations?
Yes. I offer presentations exploring creativity, mental health, resilience, expressive arts, and the transformative role of art in personal and collective wellbeing.
Is art therapy helpful for children and youth?
Yes. Art therapy can support children and teens experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional regulation challenges, grief, trauma, social difficulties, low confidence, and challenges expressing feelings through words alone.
Creative approaches provide another way for young people to explore emotions, build self-awareness, and develop coping skills.
What happens in an art therapy counselling session?
Sessions are personalized and may include painting, drawing, collage, clay, somatic art practices, mindfulness, and creative reflection. The focus is on emotional expression, self-understanding, and personal growth. No artistic experience is required.
Are counselling sessions covered by insurance?
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Counselling sessions may be eligible for coverage through many extended health insurance plans in Canada. Please check with your provider to confirm coverage.
What are your rates?
Art Therapy / Expressive Arts Counselling (75 minutes): $260 per session
Individual Counselling / Psychotherapy (50 minutes): $175 per session
Workshops, presentations, and organizational offerings are customized based on group size, location, duration, materials, and specific needs.
Services are available in Victoria, BC, surrounding Southern Vancouver Island communities, and online across Canada.
